Florida Loss Review is operated by Pax Consulting Services LLC, doing business as Florida Loss Review.

We collect information submitted through the property-loss review form and information you may later provide while communicating with us. This may include:

  • Telephone number
  • Contact preference
  • Property address and location information
  • Property use
  • Relationship to the property
  • Description of the loss or damage
  • Damage categories
  • Active-damage status
  • Discovery date
  • Insurance-carrier information
  • Claim status and claim number when voluntarily supplied
  • Documents, photographs, or other information later provided by email
  • Referrer, landing page, and campaign parameters when available
  • Limited technical information used for security, fraud prevention, and service operation

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Review the submitted property-loss situation
  • Contact the person who submitted it
  • Organize and evaluate the information provided
  • Identify questions, missing information, urgency, or possible next steps
  • Coordinate qualified professionals when requested or appropriate
  • Maintain operational and communication records
  • Protect the website and intake process from misuse
  • Improve the service using non-sensitive, non-identifying operational insights

Email-First Intake and Service Providers

Intake submissions are delivered through email, which is currently Florida Loss Review's primary operational record. Florida Loss Review does not currently maintain a separate application database for intake submissions.

Vercel hosts the website and server functions. Resend processes transactional email delivery. Email providers and related service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services, including maintaining service logs or operational copies.

When Information May Be Shared

Information may be shared:

  • With service providers supporting website hosting, email delivery, security, and operations
  • With contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, engineers, inspectors, restoration professionals, grant or assistance resources, or other professionals only when relevant and authorized or reasonably necessary to respond to the request
  • When required by law, legal process, safety concerns, or protection of rights
  • In connection with a legitimate business transfer, subject to appropriate protections

Florida Loss Review does not sell personal information.

Retention

Florida Loss Review retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to a request, maintain business and legal records, protect against disputes or misuse, and comply with applicable obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the matter and the systems used.

Security

Florida Loss Review uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information handled. No internet transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Choices and Requests

You may email reviews@floridalossreview.com to request:

  • Access to information you submitted
  • Correction of information you submitted
  • Deletion, subject to legal, operational, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping exceptions
  • An explanation of how your information was used

Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Florida Loss Review does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

This website may link to third-party sites or help connect property owners with independent professionals. Those sites and professionals have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not govern how they handle information.

Changes to This Policy

Florida Loss Review may update this policy as its services or practices change. When the policy is updated, the “Last updated” date displayed above will also be revised.
